Rant
While I’m glad about the Weekly #1, I’m trying very hard not to get upset about the numbers. ><
(rant ahead, ignore pls)
I like the songs, Dame is catchy and CR is nice. The solo songs are great. And the PVs are fun.
So why the hell are the peple not buying the CD?
Is it a matter of price? I mean it is almost 50% more expansive than the other CDs, but that just mean a few hundred yens, hardly enough for a McDonald’s meal. Are people broke because KT has an album out on the same day? What?
I wonder if the 66000 is the final number for the weekly chart or does that not include the shops that send in their results at the end of the week. I’m hoping the latter to be the case. Since apparently Mizuki Nana got #2 this week. I’m too lazy to count up the numbers, but going by her rank these few days, there is no way she’d be #2. So that must mean a hugh number came in at the end of the week for her. Mizuki Nana = Seiyuu = most of her fans would order through ACG shops, same shops that One Piece fans are likely to order from = may be those shop have only just reported their numbers to Oricon today, before the news article came out.
(One can hope, can’t they?)
Either way, whatever the sales figure, congratulations on the Weekly #1!

The actual number was 65,613.
Not even 66,000……
More and more I think Oricon numbers are stupid. They don’t count every store. And true, it’s also the timing. Like HMV, they didn’t ship our orders out until late and I don’t even know if those counted in.
It just makes no sense. Did they lose that many fans after the unit drought? T____T
No matter what I just hope none of this will get to them. But I just bet Avex staff is having meeting about the numbers right now. and then we’re going to go back to having songs like “Venus”. ugghhhhh

Well, we can only hope for the numbers to go up. There is nothing else to do…
but numbers are really strange. I can’t believe that. After all the promotion… it just feels strange.

Yeah I don’t like “Venus” at all. I heard the Spanish version of it, and I just can’t stand T&T getting songs that were ALREADY recorded in a European country, before “Venus” was even released….
